အနာကျင်ရဆုံးက အမေ ဘယ်မှာရှိနေတယ်၊ ဘယ်လိုနေနေရတယ်ဆိုတာ မသိရတာပါပဲ

ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ ငါးနှစ်နီးပါးအတွင်း ဖမ်းဆီးထိန်းသိမ်းခံထားရတဲ့ မိခင်ဖြစ်သူ မြန်မာ့ဒီမိုကရေစီခေါင်းဆောင်၊ နိုဘယ်ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးဆုရှင် ဒေါ်အောင်ဆန်းစုကြည် ဘယ်နေရာမှာ ရှိနေတယ်၊ ဘယ်လိုနေနေရတယ်ဆိုတာ မသိရတဲ့ စိတ်ပူပန်သောကတွေနဲ့ နေထိုင်ခဲ့ရကြောင်း သားဖြစ်သူ ကင်မ်အဲရစ် (Kim Aris) က ပြောပါတယ်။

ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ အောက်တိုဘာလ (၁၄)ရက်နေ့ က ဥရောပရောက် မြန်မာအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းနဲ့ တွေ့ဆုံပွဲမှာ ကင်မ်အဲရစ်က မိခင်နဲ့ နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာ ခွဲခွာနေရတဲ့ စိတ်ဒုက္ခတွေကို ဖွင့်ဟပြောဆိုခဲ့ပြီး တချို့နှစ်တွေမှာဆိုရင် မိခင် အသက်ရှင်နေသေးရဲ့လားဆိုတာတောင် မသိခဲ့ရဘူးလို့ ပြောပါတယ်။

ငယ်စဉ်ကတည်းက မိခင် နေအိမ်အကျယ်ချုပ်ကျခံနေရတဲ့ အခြေအနေတွေနဲ့ ကြီးပြင်းလာခဲ့ရတာကြောင့် အခုလို ထပ်မံခွဲခွာနေရတဲ့ နာကျင်စရာအခြေအနေတွေကို ရင်ဆိုင်နိုင်ဖို့ တစုံတရာ ကြိုတင်ပြင်ဆင်ထားသလို ဖြစ်ခဲ့တယ်လို့လည်း သူက ပြန်ပြောင်းပြောပြပါတယ်။

For nearly five years, Kim Aris has lived with the painful uncertainty of not knowing where his mother, Myanmar’s detained pro-democracy leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, is being held or how she is doing.

Speaking at a public gathering with Myanmar diaspora communities in Europe, Aris shared the emotional toll of being separated from his mother, including years when he did not even know whether she was alive.

He also reflected on how growing up during his mother’s years under house arrest helped prepare him for the painful separation he faces today.
